My name is Rita McCree and I am an African American female that loves to sing and play the piano. I took piano lesson to learn how to read music and I also played the cornet in High school. I write my own music and make beats. I come from a musical family. My grandmother played the piano for Aretha Franklin back in the day and my dad also picked up the piano in his days. They sang in the church right across the street from Aretha Franklins church in Detroit Michigan back in their days. Music is my passion I love doing it and I also like writing motivational songs to keep people heads up. I have been singing since the age of 11 years old and I am 27 years old now. I am just lookng for that big break to get myself out here because this has always been my dream and I wont stop until I succeed in the music industry. I have performed in many places in Dertoit and I have also been to New York and performed and won 3rd place and I went with my manager (at the time) and he won 1st place. That was so exciting for us to go back home with trophys in both of our hands. So sum everything up music is my life and I would love to share my voice with everybody in the world and hopefully you will feel the same way that I feel about my music when you hear me.
