NaYR

Born in Philadelphia, PA, the upcoming emcee Nayr Cross [NaYR] began writing rhymes as early as age 12. As he progressed, he looked to expand his musical ambitions and began making his own beats and writing to them during his high school years. In his sophomore year of college he began recording in late 2006, after being encouraged by friends and family to pursue music.

On September 9th, 2008, in honor of his late-father, he released his debut project titled “The Prism” EP via free download. And re-released it again the following year on September 9th, 2009. The EP recieved favorable reviews and minor buzz throughout various internet outlets.

After working on various projects with other artist during 2009-2010, NaYR is now currently working on his second project (a full length LP) which will be entitled “From Here To Eternity” to be released on July 11th, 2011. A promo track entitled “Find My Way” was released as a streaming single for the project via NaYR’s Youtube page.
