Multi-Talented and Unique, with a sound like no other, it’s no wonder why N.Jay a.k.a NdotJay, is steadily creeping on the scene. Focused and dedicated the emerging rapper and producer, has an undeniable love and passion for music. It’s the same love that exemplifies his work ethic and feeds his drive.   The blue-collared work mentality comes as second nature to the Michigan-bred artist. Born and raised in Pontiac, a small town outside of Detroit, N.Jay has grown accustomed to hard work. As no stranger to late night writing sessions and all-nighters in the studio, he also embodies the student-mentality as a self taught producer and graphic designer.   Vibrant, feel-good and fun are a few adjectives that describe his style of music and synonymously describe his nature of being.   As the mastermind behind majority his music, N.Jay combines melodic tunes with laid-back vocals and fun, relatable topics. “My music doesn’t really compare to what’s out right now. It’s a different, more commercial, more “fun” sound” N.Jay added.   It could be the ode to his mother, his tribute to the ladies, his grown and sexy tunes, or his fresh, clean style that have the females falling for his baby face.   Raised by his mom and growing up the older brother of two sisters, his appreciation of women supersedes the superficial. It’s no wonder why he appeals greatly to the ladies.   In his spare time, like most young men, NJay watches movies and hangs out with friends. But mostly, spare-time is seen as his work time. He’s constantly on his grind, writing songs, making beats and researching artists, all in hopes to become better artist himself.   With a respect for all artists and their grind, NJay looks to a few rappers for musical influence. T.I., Lil’ Wayne, Drake and Eminem are more of his more well-known inspirations. True to his sound and lifestyle, he doesn’t try to emulate his favorites. Instead, he studies their approach and their work ethic.   NJay admits he has a lot to learn in the music industry. He dedicates his loyalty to being a student of the game. He realizes he has a long road to travel to reach his desired destination. However, he’s more about quality and patience. “I’m not racing. I’m going to grind until I get it.”
