Hello, I'm Michael Cornett from the Elijah Project USA profile and this is me about 10 years ago.
I'm a rocker at heart from the good old Classic Rock era and I've put up this profile because I'm interested to see if anybody likes the kind of music that I used to write and play around the North Georgia and the Tennessee mountains all those years ago.
These are three recordings that my group ELIJAH did. I wrote HEAD FOR THE MOUNTAINS in 1985 with a friend of mine Butch Lawson. These three recording's have been in circulation since 1998, but the message is more relevant today than ever before. I have several more songs that I'm thinking about uploading from that same era. Back then I was very concerned about leaving the city lifestyle and moving out into the country and becoming more self-sufficient.
Don't be naive and think that your life will always stay the same, because the times are changing very, very rapidly. The time of tribulation is upon us. The more people there are in the world, the more vulnerable and interdependent we become on each other
It's later than you think it is !!! There's no time to fool around and play games with your life when you can see people are suffering and living in misery all around you ! This world is in serious trouble when people are so obsessed with pleasure and selfishness, at the expense of compassion and community service. Jesus came to give us an abundant life so that we might help those in need, and that's why he commanded us to love one another as He loved us. You need a servant's heart to love someone the way that Jesus loves you.
If you are now caught up in a lifestyle of sin and confusion then it's time for you to repent and change your ways for good; for God's Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! The Holy Spirit is working on your heart and mind, knocking at the door and asking you to let him come in and be your comforter and councilor. Jesus Christ is returning soon for his people ! Are you going to be ready ? Are you going to be one of them ? Are you going to be welcomed as one of His good and faithful servants ?
