Niacin Flush was formed when frontman Brint Hollis met Lee in Jonesboro, Arkansas while looking for another guitarist to round out the line-up then called Seven Miles Downcast. They ended up in Nashville under the new name Niacin Flush. They recorded a 5 song Ep with Travis Wyrick. The pair met Chris Rebello in Nashville not long after the completion of the Ep. After a few years of struggling with a solid line-up Dustin Smartt rounded out the band and they began working on their self produced and engineered Lp "The Basement Sessions".

There is a time to grind it out in blood, sweat, and tears in the studio painstakingly hashing out parts and laying down tracks. A time to render the onlooker helpless in the grip of their craft.
