Born in England, raised in Scotland, with stints in the Middle East and New York, Nicky considers herself to be well-traveled. As a vocalist she craves many genres and loves a challenge when she performs. Born in England, raised in Scotland, with stints in the Middle East and New York, Nicky considers herself to be well-traveled. As a vocalist she craves many genres and loves a challenge when she performs. Singing in several bands while in University, it was after buying her first Fender acoustic guitar when working as an intern in New York she started writing and felt like she had something to offer as a solo artist. After relocating to Edmonton she was asked to front a local 80`s rock band playing city venues such as On the Rocks and Urban Lounge and also had solo opportunities at Borden Park for Canada Day, the Rainmaker Rodeo in St. Albert and Canadian Finals Rodeo. Most recently Nicky has been in the studio recording her original material with Juno Nominated Sandro Dominelli and is gaining some attention on the local scene with her own band Belmont Street.
