No Alibi is an upstart rock/alternative band from Wichita, KS. Long-time guitaring duo Steve Bridges and Geoff Abegg join forces with Ashley Boehm, whose vocal prowess has garnered airtime and won contests, while Bass powerhouse CeeJay Layton and El Dorado native Ben Webster lay down a rock-solid sonic foundation. Steve recently departed the band to focus on other items in his personal agenda, with which the rest of the band wishes him all the best. No Alibi has spent the last year playing mainly to the small crowd, and has also drawn positive feedback from a couple larger events as well. Their fun-loving attitude puts an energetic spin on their wide range of covered music, while their fledgling list of original music is portrayed with equal parts sincerity and enthusiasm. These combine for a night out that first-time show-goers will love, and that "old hand" fans come out for again and again. Like all musicians, we reflect the world around us and inside us into our music. No Alibi's original music itself spans the modern rock spectrum, and ranges from contemplative alternative to aggressive rock and metal, and even pop-punk. Our goal is to make music that rings true, that doesn't sound forced, fake, or commercial. At the same time, we'd like to think that there's something in the sound that everyone can enjoy. But in the end, we're just musicians doing what we love to do.
