This group of young and talented musicians is passionate about playing music and entertaining audiences! Although they are only ages 14-15, they rock the house like seasoned pros and amaze audiences wherever they perform. This group of young and talented musicians is passionate about playing music and entertaining audiences! Although they are only ages 14-15, they rock the house like seasoned pros and amaze audiences wherever they perform. In early 2010, powerhouse lead singer Kaela Heiston and talented bassist Aidan Hall joined forces with drummer Jake Rosenthal and lead guitarist Trevor Fichtner to form Nocturnal Rush. These young teens live in three counties in the Northern Virginia suburbs outside Washington DC, bringing together the most talented kids around! Nocturnal Rush is inspired by the legends of rock, and performs contemporary and classic rock as well as originals. The band performed at a number of events this spring and summer, including: Celebrate Fairfax! (formerly the Fairfax Fair), as the youngest band at Northern Virginia’s largest festival; Carytown Watermelon Festival, in Richmond, the largest one-day festival in Virginia, with more than 60 bands on eight stages, where organizers say Nocturnal Rush drew a larger audience than any other band at the festival; State Fair of Virginia, Doswell, VA; Cox Communications’ Movies Under the Moon, City of Fairfax, and more! Nocturnal Rush recently released three originals, Nocturnal Rush, Heartless Warriors and YOU, with more to follow soon. The members of Nocturnal Rush are veterans of the stage. Before joining Nocturnal Rush, band members performed at prime area venues such as the Sylvan Theatre, Jaxx Nightclub, the Montgomery County Fair, Ned Devine's and the Adams Morgan Day Festival.
