Oakfield Drive is shy in having bandmembers who each fulfill their own task. Bram Molenaers, whose voice and guitar work are to be heard, has been writing for many years now. The words and tunes consist out of both honest and personal elements. He tells tales meant to relate to, meant to give you the notion you're not alone. Unless you want to be. It's all about reaching people. Oakfield Drive realises that and besides the shows he played in various places, he also got out on the street to share his melodic journeys. Things kept going better as he was chosen (by a jury consisting out of: Chokri Mahassine -pukkelpop-, Ilse Liebens -MOD, StuBru-, Raf Coenen -PHL music- and Mark Strauven -L&S Agency-) 'Artist of the month' on Limbolink and was given the opportunity to play in front of a wider audience with not only heaps of new faces but also many of limburg's finest talents. It did not stop there as Oakfield Drive ended up in the finals of the AXION BANNER CONCERTS. Recently the EP: "A World Not Knowing" was released. The concept is an open diary. The songs can best be described as personal tales. Each song takes a closer look at a specific situation and deals with the question or the thoughts on why these particular occasions stay so vividly in your memory.
