Optimystical is a unique band that combines cheerful tones together with burning passion and searching spirituality. It draws from Jewish sources of mysticism, yet puts forth a message of universal brotherhood. An Optimystical concert is a memorable experience, with a certain energy that is shared between band and audience. Come and be warmed by the fire that burns within each of us and unites us all. "Optimystical" was formed by like minded musicians. Together they create music that ebbs and flows to the rhythm of life. Gavriel Saks is a pianist/keyboardist, musical arranger, singer, and songwriter. He has lived in his music since early childhood and has performed extensively as a keyboardist since age 12, having also been the musical leader of bands in New York ("Helium"), Maryland, and Jerusalem ("The Netsach Band"). He is noted for the innovative spiritual and mystical elements that he brings to music. His hobbies include wandering, talking to himself, and founding religions. Yerachmiel is a well known singer from New York who has helped shape and form the emerging Jewish Rock scene. When he is not recording or performing he can be found in seclusion mumbling to himself all sorts of nonsense and gibberish.
