hymn, and movement from the R&B sensational quartet O.N.E.
The Southern California based group, O.N.E, was formed by
Fonzel Harris (CEO of Regalcity Music), with the hopes of
forming a group that obtained the overall package, and what he
received was so much more. The gentlemen of O.N.E arrange and
write their own music, assist with the choreography of all
performances, and rain to be versatile in both the arts of singing
and rapping.
O.N.E has opened up for large acts such as Boys II Men, Ne-Yo, Akon,
Snoop Dogg, T.I., Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole and many more.
June 9th, 2009, O.N.E made history by being the first
R&B group to drop a full mixtape with the majority being their
original songs. Currently, their remix to Electrik Red’s (Def Jam) “So Good”
has been getting heavily played on radio stations. They also did a
remix to the hit single “You’re A Jerk” by the New Boyz (Warner Bros.)
titled ”Don’t Bring Your Girl Around Me,” which caught the attention of the
duo and lead to a collaboration. O.N.E is now featured on the group’s album
‘Skinny Jeanz and a Mic,’ co-writing the song “No More.”
This well-rounded group represents four components, The Look,
The Sound, The Music, and The Show, that together make up their
distinctive sound. These components individually would not
have the same impact or strength that comes with the total
package of O.N.E.
While focusing on overcoming all of the industries stereotypes
about R& B male groups, O.N.E, which represents Overcoming
New Era, understands the importance of being artist, moreover
entertainers and plans to reconstruct the image of R&B music in
the fans eye. O.N.E is having a great start with their career,
making a name for themselves and definitely becoming the
future of R&B.
