In 2009 five friends, Joel Roman (Reverend JRC), Eric Cantre (Big Papa), Porfy Reyes (Porfy Lee), Edgardo Ruiz (Eggie Fingers) and Denis Morales (Denis Punk), unite to rock and form the band ÖVRDRVE. The guys know themselves long ago and have had other projects like: Efecto Secundario, Demencia 13, Viuda Negra, Lettal, JRC & The Crossroad, Devil’s Tail Flames and Capital 7. With this project they wish to get to their roots and is for that reason that they have a simple, loud and rocking sound, from here the slogan “Pure Ol’ Simple Rock N’ Roll” On February 2010 ÖVRDRVE won First Place in the “Coors Light Battle Of The Bands” at Hollywood Café Ponce, Puerto Rico on their first presentation.
