Owegi

Owegi the band name came from the following saying: One Fungus, But Many Fungi... One Owego, But Many Owegi... What does this saying mean? Owego is the home town of my youth... Fungi = Fun-guy... Fungi is a fun way to pay homage to the many guitar players and musicians I knew and met while growing up in the Owego, NY area. There was one Owego, but many guitar players/musicians (the fun-guys). Putting it all together gives the saying: One Fungus, But Many Fungi... One Owego, But Many Owegi...
