Ozz: Rock for each sensation In 2002, the spirit of Indie Rock took possession of Ziel (vocals, guitar), Litus (drums) and Jonnas (guitar and bass), who decided to create in Lima one of the representative Peruvian bands of this genre of music: Ozz. From the beginnings, Ozz was present in pubs, universities, clubs and at outdoor concerts along with other bands of the music scene of Lima, managing to be known and accepted by the local rock community. Since 2004, Ozz has been established as an independent band with medium and long term aims, dedicating themselves immediately to the projection of thier first album. In 2005 the first single of the Ozz - the song Calido Invierno - was debuted, being received very well by the public due to the harmonious combination of voice and instruments, proposing an independent rock easy to listen, but loaded with feelings. In the same year Calido Invierno was included in a limited edition of the album “Pop Rock 2005” under the TDV label, along with tracks of many other known bands of the musical circuit of Lima, and was among the first musical ranking posts in several cities of Peru from 2005 to 2006. In 2007 Ozz continued performing in the musical circuit of Lima and in some provinces, combining their presentations with audiovisual shows designed by them for each song and creating in this way an atmosphere of the perfect synchrony between the music and visual sensations. It’s worth mentioning that this idea was originally introduced by Ozz among the Peruvian musicians and was posterior assimilated by several bands of the circuit. In the following year the band decided to focus exclusively on the production of its first disc. As the result of this effort the album “Rosas Sin Sangre” was released in 2008, recorded in Bowie Records (www.bowierecords.com) and Studio Blue, and produced by Ziel and Jose Inoñan (Dolores Delirio). The album contains ten songs – a product of the inspiration of its vocalist Ziel, distinguished himself by the perfectionist style in his work as a musician and music producer. Recently Ozz has completed the production of the first official video of the album (song Humano) that is already rotating on the national TV channels and MTV LA. The video was produced, directed, edited and post produced by the drummer and co-founder of the band Litus. Additionally, unofficial videos, songs and presentations of the band are available on the Internet. Apart from participating in concerts OZZ are currently producing their next video and the second studio album.
