Rapper, producer and writer. Ronnie (Panic) Lewis was born in Highland Park, Illinois, on December 3, 1985. He was equally raised between East Cleveland, Ohio, & Midwest City, Oklahoma, until the age of 17. Ronnie’s passion for music comes from family, mainly his mother who is an exceptionally confident singer in her craft. His mother realized her son had a talent for music when he was 5 yrs old as she witnessed him free-styled to Roger Troutman’s instrumental of “Computer Love”. Ronnie’s interest in music initially stemmed from his admiration in the works of 90’s hip-hop icons MC Hammer, Kris Kross & the legendary hip-hop mogul, Tupac Shakur. His talents became apparent as his professional career began at the age of 13 when he got his start with the group “Lost Found” and recorded their first album entitled “Major Confusion” in 2000. They appeared in several venues throughout Texas & Oklahoma during their stretch as a group between the years 2000 – 2003. After a club appearance at Oklahoma City’s, Club Cassanova’s in2000, Ronnie was offered a $40,000.00 solo recording contract. Being that he was only 15 at the time, his mother refused the deal, believing her son’s music was priceless. Shortly thereafter, Ronnie left the group to pursue a solo career & declared his independence by changing his name from Xdus to Panic in the process. Ever since Panic’s independent emergence, he has worked diligently to perfect his artistry. Autonomously, he has written, co-produced & distributed a series of mixtapes titled “Panic Room”, a 3 part series with parts 1 and 2 currently circulating the internet. Volume 3 will be released in the near future. Alongside the “Panic Room” mixtape series, Panic has recently completed his first solo project entitled, “This Nigga Here”, produced under his independent label, Unknown Suspect Records. “Island Lover” will be the first single to reach the mass public in July, 2010.
