Parallel Hearts is a Fullerton, CA based songwriting duo consisting of the merger of the minds of Dana Hong and Mike Lee. Our songs are written based on a set of principles and preferences that exploit the ecstacy in music. Both of us have very diverse tastes in music and we attempt to bring in facets of different styles into our songs. Parallel Hearts is a Fullerton, CA based songwriting duo consisting of the merger of the minds of Dana Hong and Mike Lee. Our songs are written based on a set of principles and preferences that exploit the ecstacy in music. Both of us have very diverse tastes in music and we attempt to bring in facets of different styles into our songs. We try not to limit ourselves to a particular genre, allowing the dictates of the song determine that. However, all of our lyrics reflect our spirituality and our musings about God. We began informally writing together in 2008. In the early days, we concentrated more on remixing praise songs for use on Sunday mornings. However, between 2008 and 2010, we wrote several original songs, writing a total of 5 songs. After taking a year off from writing to concentrate on school, we got together in February, 2011, for a jam session. This session yielded yet another song and we officially formed Parallel Hearts later that month.
