Parrelli Blu born Darrell Davis on June 8, 1987 near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a highly anticipated SC rapper, producer and entertainer, who first gained attention after the release of his debut mixtape The Fright in 2010. At the age of 11, Darrell wrote his first song and at age 15 he began to produce his own beats. His career took flight after he moved to Columbia, SC where he was a student at the University of South Carolina. Blu became a local favorite with his Black & Garnet hit and through his recent performances at 5 Points Pub, Red Hot Tomatoes, Social Bar, Bey’s,Village Idiot, Jillians, New Brookland Tavern, Sharky’s and Battle of the Bands in Columbia, and Social Bar & Lounge in South Carolina. His music has also been numerous local radio stations and he made it to the finals in Jay Z's Rocnation showcase held in Columbia, SC. He has been called a "Diamond in the rough" by Hot 103.9's radio personal "Neek" and has been featured in numerous local magazines, newspapers, and online blogs.
Parrelli Blu released his second mixtape, The Fright 2.0, in collaboration with producer AA (Aaron Robertson) as an online download. In 2011, Blu released his conceptual mixtape called Parrelli Over Everything, which he produced 10 of the 16 classic tracks himself. NBC's "The Voice" artist Jonathan Wyndham is also featured on two singles with Parrelli. In late 2018 he will drop "Parrelli Over Everything Vol 2" which is what he considers his long awaited project.
