Penny Racer is the one-man DIY brainchild of Tyler Gomo, drummer for Poughkeepsie, NY metal band Black Mesa. Eager to write tunes that weren't so heavy, Tyler sat down in October 2008 and began a "song a day" project that saw over 20 songs written and recorded in a raw "guitar and vocals only" format (14 of these tracks were released on the album A Song A Day I in Dec 2008). Currently finishing up his latest album, set for release in late 2009, Penny Racer is on a tireless quest to be heard by as many as possible.
