In the early months of 2003, Memphis, Tennessee introduced the south to the charming quartet known aptly as Perspective. Not only was their debut EP an instant success with audiences, their live shows proved that their talent had moved past just writing hook-laden songs. Now with seven years of playing numerous radio and television sponsored events, Perspective has shared the stage with national acts such as Ingram Hill, Hot Action Cop, and Bo Bice. Perspective has released their widely anticipated first full length album titled "Breaking All the Ends." This album is a scrapbook of madness that has grown to be Perspective. For the band, "Breaking All the Ends" is a testament to the feelings they don't understand, from the times they love the most, and the ones they have lost. It is about a world that has turned upside down and continued to spin relentlessly, and one realizes life might not be so bad, or perhaps it might not have been upside down to start with. It is about growing up regardless of whether Perspective accepted it, provoked it, or knew it. When existentialism has the band worked into a tizzy, they go to the ocean and are shown where, how, and why God exists. There are also the questions Perspective is afraid to ask and the answers they are afraid to know. The result is a mixture of it all into an ear-tickling bowl of madness, love, and hunger. In the end, the album breaks and sheds the loose and dead ends off the band in order to bring to light the ones they have come to know themselves as. This is what "Breaking All the Ends" means, and when you grab a disc of this mad scrapbook, know that it is a rather large piece of who Perspective is.
