My name is Peter Bosman. I write music using synthesizers and keyboards, that is: keys. Growing up, during 8 years of music lessons, I learned about many styles and how to mimic different instruments, playing the keys in different ways to get the best sound. Now when I make a new song I play each instrument separately. I don't use any loops or grooves or anything but play the keys to create everything from the bassline to the drums to the strings to the piano or whatever sounds I feel the son...

Growing up, during 8 years of music lessons, I learned about many styles and how to mimic different instruments, playing the keys in different ways to get the best sound. Now when I make a new song I play each instrument separately. I don't use any loops or grooves or anything but play the keys to create everything from the bassline to the drums to the strings to the piano or whatever sounds I feel the song requires. I use a very simple (and very old!) computer program to record the notes I play and when I'm finally happy with the composition I record it, track by track, and ultimately finish it of course by mixing and mastering. I much enjoy making instrumental music, but more recently I've also started working with talented singers as well.
