Singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist Peter Daily possesses the rarest of musical traits – he has the ability to connect with any audience. The founder of the indie pop-rock group Royal Band, Daily is the longtime touring musical director for hip-hop artist Pigeon John, he’s co-written a k-pop song that was a hit in Asia (Kim Hyun Joong’s “His Habit”), and he’s opened for everyone from Brandi Carlile, to MF Doom, to Mike Patton. Daily, who’s based in Los Angeles, but has roots in Texas, is readying his next release with production from Adam MacDougall (Circles Around the Sun). Daily counts a wide range of artists as musical influences (Paul McCartney, Billy Preston, J Dilla, & Randy Newman) but his first influence was his father, who was a gospel artist. Between his solo work, and with Royal Band, Daily’s music has appeared on TV shows on Netflix, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW, & more. After taking the better part of 12 months in 2017 to essentially learn how to walk again after a car accident, Daily was ready to continue developing his sound. With his combo of styles and inspirations in mind, Daily's a mix of Beatles and hip-hop. Being that he’s worked with both Brian Ray, who’s the guitarist for Paul McCartney’s band, as well as a litany of indie hip-hop legends, it’s an apt description. It’s also why Daily’s music connects with so many different audiences, and has the power to bridge both genre, and generational gaps. - Adam Bernard
