We're a three piece indie rock band from Pomona, California. We formed in early 2009. If you open your eyes and your ears, you'll learn that we're just a musical bricolage. Adrien Parker recorded a 4 song 12" EP called "The Future's Coming" on Robot Maintenance Records in August 2009 as "Phaxanation." Enrique Poveda played drums on one of the songs, and bass on another. Adrien Parker recorded a 4 song 12" EP called "The Future's Coming" on Robot Maintenance Records in August 2009 as "Phaxanation." Enrique Poveda played drums on one of the songs, and bass on another. Aside from that, Adrien performed all other instrumentation. Shortly afterward, Adrien decided to turn Phaxanation into a full fledged band. Daniel Huizar became full time bassist/guitarist, while Enrique Poveda plays drums/bass. Adrien plays guitar, drums, and sings. We became Phaxanation & the Dust Kickers. We're currently finishing up our debut record as a full band; "Now & Then" is slated for release sometime in 2011. Stay tuned...we'll finish it eventually.
