Philip Lathroum

Philip Lathroum is a country music singer/songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, he is one of eight children. He is a gifted and powerful singer, as well as an inspired songwriter. A graduate of Western Maryland College, with a BA in music, he can play several instruments to include guitar, piano, and saxaphone. He played in his first band in high school, and has been hooked on music ever since. Philip's first recording received some regional radio play, and is a favorite at the local country clubs and bars in the Maryland area. He has entered and received awards in several national songwriting contests. Philip has played and sung all over Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania in many of the Areas top country bands to include: Razin' Kane, Wild Card, Crazy Horse, Whiskey River, Plowboy, and Southern Exposure to name a few. He has won several songwriting awards from some of the top competitions including JPFOLKS, and the Songwriters Association of Washington DC. His music has played on radio stations in TX, TN, OK, KY, IL, MD, The UK and more.... He has done numerous radio interviews. He has shared the stage with the likes of John Rich, "Whispering" Bill Anderson, and Cowboy Troy. He is a Member of BMI and JPFOLKS. He is most proud of his accomplishments as a Husband and Father.
