No one knew the events that were slowly beginning to unravel that morning of August 5th in the small rural town of Tarzana, California. However, it became clearly evident within a matter of moments that the new life that had transpired was one of greatness. His parents chose the name Amir which means "Prince" or "Commander." Amir Miller was the name written on his birth certificate but for those who really knew Da Boy simply refered to him as "Play Bizzle" or just "PLAY." This Leo exhibits all the natural characteristics of his sign being spontaneous, creative, and a natural born leader. Instinctively these traits carried over to his love life and seemingly gave him an advantage over his peer group; hence the name Playboy began to become synonymous with Amir. PlayBizzle moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when he was 5 years old but had lived in Georgia, Texas, California, ect. Play was primarily raised through unsound stability and uses his traumatic experiences in the streets, as well as the life lessons of the real world to influence his music. -A Yo I Run Wit Rebels/ In All Red Like I'm One wit Devils/ Keep Folded Metal To Protect The Golden Bezel/ "referring 2 his 40 cal. kel-tech & Kashi wrist wrapery" (Excerpt From "DA MILLER MIXTAPE" Song Title: PlayBoy's Theme) PlayBizzle began constructing musical melodies and rhythms before he could even talk. Before he could even spell he wrote lyrics about his life and it's surroundings. Using old school tablets, napkins, tablecloths, insides of cereal boxes, and anything else he could find to release his thoughts. Writing music became a therapeutic outlet for all the stress and harsh realities Play had to endure throughout his life. A prodigy through DNA would be an understatement for this young genious. He was the offspring of a successful musician with the multi-platinum R&B group "LTD"(Love Togetherness and Devotion); so one would conclude that most his talent was genetically inherited. In the early 90's when hip-hop/rap started on it's way to become a nationwide phenomenon the Miller decided he had found his niche in life. Around the age of 11, Play really became focused on content and lyrics within his music. While most children were doing what PlayBoy descibes as "corny shit" he was evolving his next simile or metaphor. "I pride myself on the fact that in an era where you can make a song about absolutely nothing, my songs speak about real concepts, speaks PlayBizzle." -If U Dont Feel Ya Boy It's Cause U Can't Touch Me B/ Keep Him Out The Competition Cause There's None For Me/ What U Want From Me So I Can Eat Like Pacman/ Guess I Gotta Be The Next New Artist With A Wack Dance/ (Excerpt From "The Transporter Vol. 1" Song Title: KingPin Of Da Inkpen Produced By: Juliano 4 Fat Boi Fresh Productions Copyright: KingPinz Music Group 2007 All Rights Reserved) "Music is the gateway to the soul and through music we are able to truly understand the artist(s) point of view in any situation, says PlayBizzle." He credits his intrests in music to some of the pioneers of entertainment: Tupac Shakur, Too $hort, R.Kelly, and Michael Jackson, to name a few. Play feels he has a style that does not compare to anyone past or present, His lyrical displays scream confidence and bleed truth, while his performance swaggar shines like the sun on his birthday. Currently, PlayBizzle is managed by Rising Star Management. Play has performed all across the nation from Pittsburgh to his native coast in Southern California. You can expect nothing but more classic hits to follow his previous two mixtape releases "Da Miller Mixtape" and "The Transporter Vol. 1."
