Born and raised in south central Los Angeles by a single mother with four children and a drug addicted father who was in and out of his life, complex grew up extremely fast and that included making a name for him self in freestyle battles throughout the city by the age of twelve. As a battle emcee complex flourished, although younger then all his competitors. Years as a battle emcee sharpened his skills and molded him into a better overall lyricist. By the age of sixteen complex was heavily recording music and focused on becoming the best recorded artist he could be. After years of recording and dealing with independent labels, complex decided to start his own record label with his close friend and producer, the label was called undaworld productions. With his own label complex was finally able to work at his own pace and hustle his way up to the top. Work on the debut album quickly began and complex started to gain experience in many new aspects of the game, from promotion, to organizing shows, to dealing with all business matters for the label. Success soon followed as complex continued to work and do live performances all over the city. Within his first year as a performer complex went from rocking shows at small venues, to opening for legends in some of the most known venues around. Complex has now performed in almost every hot spot in Los Angeles including, the House of Blues, Key Club, Roxy, El Rey Theatre, Knitting Factory, Airliner, and the list goes on. Complex has also opened for such legends as Slick Rick, Biz Markie, Wu Tang, GZA, Killah Priest, The Beatnuts, Psycho Realm, Funkdoobiest, Planet Asia, Percee P., etc. With the new found success complex was finally able to release his long awaited debut album, the Search for Perfection witch was released under his own label undaworld productions. The road for complex has been anything but easy, from battling on street corners as a child verses men, to rocking shows with legends in famous arenas, from being signed to independent labels, to starting his own record label. Complex has now become a seasoned live performer, a dedicated recording artist, and experienced business man. After a decorated underground career complex is now getting notice from major labels and looking to make his mark in hip hop permanent. With a decade in the game complex is still a very young man with the knowledge and experience of a veteran. Known for his lyrical flow and diverse ability to rhyme, Complex brings a touch of the classic with a spark of the future, the skills of a great lyricist, with the attitude and flavor of the west coast. The future has never looked brighter for complex, he was a champion as a battle emcee, became and underground sensation, and now his eyes are set on a getting on a major platform where he could spread his brand of music to the masses worldwide.
