Born and raised in Atlanta’s Zone Four district (better known as Adamsville) The Punch Line Monster began his unexpected journey to become a rap artist in today’s “shark pool” we know as the music industry. While yet youth’s (with no musical talent what so ever) he, his brother and their cousin attempted to become a rap group. But short lived would be their dreams of becoming multimillion dollar rap stars due to his parent’s decision to leave Adamsville to move to Cobb County in a hope to give him and his brother a better chance of succeeding in their academic studies. As the rest of his Elementary and half of his Middle School years shot by he exchanged his dream of being a rap star for a new found hobby of playing street basketball. Little did he know that during his eighth grade year his desire of wanting to express himself would re-spark his old short lived dream of being a rap artist. After taking down one of his school’s acclaimed best rappers in a free style battle, he was instantly overtaken by this new challenge to “rap and really be good at it”. Between playing street ball and battle rapping, High School for him “was a blur” with the exception of his tenth grade year in which he created his crew he called the Hit Squad Boys, a crew that he would later transform and establish into an entertainment company now known as Hit Squad Entertainment. A short while after establishing the company, local success and a reputation as a well known drug dealer lead him through several "heart aches and pains among many other tribulations" and several encounters with the law. Having his car stolen, house robbed, being shot at and held at gun point "are but a few" of the tribulations he faced. After experiencing hardships of that magnitude, he decided "it was time to let go of the street and get serious about life". With a new outlook on life he began to "grind and get it in the legit way" acquiring himself two record deal proposal's and a potential opportunity to perform at Howard University's Home Coming "Yard Fest" Event. Little did he know that by mid-September 2007 his dreams would once again be put on hold when he was convicted on charges and sentenced to prison. On May 11, 2009 P.L.M. (The Punch Line Monster) emerged from the depths of the Georgia Department of Corrections a new man. He has since, released his first musical effort post release his debut hit single "Day In My Shoes". He is currently "grinding harder than ever to make up for lost time and to make amends for all of the stress, pain and shame he caused the people who cared about him the most" writing, performing and working on his first solo mix tape effort entitled "Dooms Day Vol.1".
