Pocket Creek is a harmony driven acoustic folk-rock group from Sanford, North Carolina. Members Sherri Galvin, April Smith and Keith Davis all grew up in the Lee County area and have been making music in some shape or form for most their respective lives. With influences ranging from old honky-tonk country, alternative rock, punk, folk music and hip hop, Pocket Creek has a diverse collection of music that they share as enthusiastically on stage as they do when jamming on the back porch for friends and family. Singers Sherri Galvin and April Smith are family; they have been singing together since they were old enough to speak and you can hear the vocal familiarity in each song they offer up. Guitarist/banjo player Keith Davis has performed with several local groups throughout the years and is a talented, versatile musician who has been a music teacher for over ten years. Whether playing their own versions of well covered songs or one of their heartfelt originals, Pocket Creek delivers on both poignant harmony and raw acoustic rock.
