At the tender age of six Point's father abandoned his family leaving him to be the man of the house and his mother as a single mother. Point's hunger stems from past visions of his mother working so hard that he hardly got to see her. He was bounced from house to house while his mother strived to provide a brighter future for her children. With the absence of his father and with his mother always away, Point began to pay close attention to the streets. He developed a love for the streets and wanted to be the ambassador for those who were stuck in hard situations, but could not speak for themselves. At the age of 9 Point wrote his first rhyme and has not looked back since. He aspired to be as big and influential as artists like DMX and Jay-Z. He taught himself what bars were and how to form a song. His rap skills came easily to him and helped him to realize that it was a gift given to him by God. At a young age he began writing songs for local artist while recording his own hits. Today, Point has over 100 songs and is making his voice heard by performing everywhere and anywhere he can. His performance is described as magnetic by people who attend his shows. He is considered a one man army due to that fact that his energy during a performance makes a hype man unnecessary and obsolete. The crowd relates to him and cheers him along through out his whole set. His passion shines through during his live shows and his audience can see themselves through him as he delivers his message. He has won numerous competition is his hometown Boston, MA for his rap and performance abilities.Looking for more,Point Blank took his talent to New York,where he performed along side many of their local artists and the main event, Rah Digga.Although he had nothing to show for it,Coming home empty handed had taught him to let the hunger grow. In the near future Point plans to dominate your local and international radio stations. His goal is to reach out to people and change lives through his music.
