Patrick Perfetto is a very hardworking, talented, and well respected musician. He covers a wide variety of styles from Jazz, Drum and Bass, Funk, Afro-Cuban, Rock, to Hip-Hop. Patrick Perfetto is a very hardworking, talented, and well respected musician. He covers a wide variety of styles from Jazz, Drum and Bass, Funk, Afro-Cuban, Rock, to Hip-Hop. Patrick primarily plays Drum Set and plays with all sorts of musicians and groups. He also plays multiple instruments, and has studied: Vibraphone, Piano, Guitar, Turntables, and Electronic Drums. He is very intrigued with Synthesizers and is currently a Dual Major in Music Synthesis and Drum Set Performance at The Berklee College of Music. Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Montgomery County Maryland, Patrick was born with music in his ears. Patrick began playing the drums at the age of 11 when he received his first drum set on Christmas of '98. He learned to play drums naturally by watching drum DVD's and reading music. He started a band with his older brother Michael and played drums at his Catholic Church. He was one of the first musicians in the Montgomery County region to bring drum set to a Catholic Church setting. Patrick was involved in Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Honors Band while attending Our Lady of Good Counsel. After his 4 years in high school he received a Scholarship to Berklee College of Music at the age of 17. As a performer Patrick began to play in the Baltimore, Washington D.C., Virginia, and Boston music scenes. He has performed at: The 8X10, The Grog and Tankard, Fettofest 2006 in Downtown Silver Spring, Fettofest 2007 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, Firehouse Cue, Growlers, Bangkok Blues, The University of Maryland, The Talking Head, The Felix Lounge, The Middle East, The Recher Theatre, Fat Tuesday's, Berklee College of Music (1140 Bolyston St.) The Ottobar, and many more. Patrick is also the Chief Executive Officer of 1-Digit LLC, a music production company based out of Montgomery County which specializes in music production and promotion. As the CEO Patrick has established himself as a musician/music festivalentrepreneur/Business Owner. Patrick is always busy with a new project, show, festival, or anything musically related. He has produced Fettofest, an annual music festival held in Montgomery County originating in 2004, at his old house in Manor Country Club. On September 1st, 2007 Patrick held "Fettofest" at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg Maryland. He is now currently conjuring up new ideas and saving funding for upcoming events that 1-Digit LLC will present. Patrick's intentions for 1-Digit LLC in the next 2-3 years are going to focus on smaller events and building the companies name and reputation before the next Fettofest occurs. As a performer Patrick has taken the stage with: Saucy Bills, Concha, renowned bass player Mike Tony Echols, Michael Perfetto, and many more. Patrick has studied with: John Ramsey, Alberto Netto, Luis Garay, Richard Slocum, Victor Mendoza, and many others! He is currently working on finishing his final years at Berklee and obtaining his masters in business by 2011. As a music synthesist Patrick is obtaining large amounts of knowledge while attending school. He is investing a lot of his time into music production and recording. He has over 200 composed sequences in the styles of: Hip-Hop, Drum and Bass, Trip-Hop, Glitch, and Rap. He puts all of his compositions under the name of the performer "Effexaris." He is attempting to compile a CD of all his music by the Fall of 2008. As a very busy individual Patrick is going to focus on performing and working in the studio to develop his expertise at Berklee.
