Trinidadian born, Prestan Andries is a resident of Bon Air Gardens in Arouca. As a teenager he was always a music lover, from singing in the bathroom to freestyling on the block. His influences are Teddy Riley, Bobby Brown, Lauren Hill, Diddy, Jay-Z, Dre and Pharell. Music is definitely his forte, he showcased his talents in recording and singing. His influences are Teddy Riley, Bobby Brown, Lauren Hill, Diddy, Jay-Z, Dre and Pharell. Music is definitely his forte, he showcased his talents in recording and singing. To date he has performed with a number of live Caribbean Bands namely Horizon, Klymax, Question, 3Veni, Made in Trinidad, KMC Red White & Black and Shurwayne Winchester & Y.O.U. Prestan, a versatile artiste enjoys singing different genres of music. His music catalog consists of collaborations with Machel Montano (Oh Girl), King David (Need Love), Shurwayne Winchester (Same Kid), Patrice Roberts (Getaway), and KMC (Think About Me). In addition to the collabration artistes, he also had the opportunity to work with fellow artistes such as Mr. Vegas, Nadia Batson, Blakie, Varindra from 3Veni and Farmer Nappy from the HD family. Other notable songs of his are; Tempting, You & Me, Pumpin (hip hop), Just Ah Friend, Hott Gyal, On Yuh Bumpa (ABX riddim) and Take Ah-his newest release for Carnival 2010. In 2008 Prestan was recognized by Shurwayne Winchester and accepted the role as Frontline Vocalist for the big band Shurwyane Winchester & Y.O.U. Prestan could have found a job as a Comedian, such is his ability to have you laughing everytime in his company. In addition to his family time, car racing and basketball Prestan cannot get away from music production...whether it is writing, recording or producing music for him and/or for others.
