I am a performing solo artist,singer/song writer & lyricist. I compose and record my own music. I write & place hefty, internalized poetry into each of my songs. Electric, acoustic folk/acoustic,electric blues background. Jazz is a huge inspiration involved within my music. I have too many songs to count, but an album length to work steadily at mastering to my taste & liking. I’m in a side project with another guitarist, & I write on a daily basis. This is my life. My art is different than most in a sense that my influences break the boundaries between that which is typically a normal mixture, and what isn’t. I take folk & blues and mix in with 70’s power punch. Aggressive 80’s pop, with a bit of westernized progressive Alt and contemporary jazz. It’s got a lot of everything, depending on the project/gig/(or song). Some songs I write solely for the meaningful idea of it’s own words. Maybe I see it as being played&portrayed on the big screen (IFC, My first upload would fit into that category/Untitled Folk LoveSong 1). My lyrics are poetic and touching; they stimulate the emotions of the listener, which is obviously necessary, but incredibly important to me.
