With a skill to free style off the top of her head with the quickness, there we knew she had a gift. Missy Dee took her talent and skills and auditioned for Harlem's world famous Apollo theatre and beat out over 300 attendees with her rap skills, going on to perfom not once but twice on the famous stage of many super stars to date. Missy Dee began to gain the confidence she needed and a platform to take her skills to the next level by perfoming in her Newark NJ community at the "Lincoln Park Music Fest" which included rap icons Naughty by Nature, RedMan & RahDigga. Video Music Box was another great opportunity for her, which aired & showcased several up & coming rap artists with the lengendary Ralph Mc Daniels.Missy Dee has had the oppurtunity to meet & work with the likes of Roxanne Shante and Dutchess from Black Ink..She participated in events such as: "The Next Great DJ" which was held at New Yorks own S.O.B's night club with judges such as rapper Troy Ave & music producer Amadeus....where Missy Dee took home the win. Missy Dee's recent rap cypher WIN, was at Brooklyn's Unity Fest with Hip Hop station Hot 97's...DJ Enuff.Dream Power Ent was another great opportunity for Missy Dee. The event offered a platform for music & rap artists to showcase their talents.
