About RA Amaro
RA Amaro born in El Terrero Chihuhua Mexico, showed his interest at an early age by making stick guitars and pretending to sing in his grandmother's back yard.
Growing up he would sing at church functions but especially in visiting churches as his father traveled. It was not to be until his teenage years where he began to learn how to play the piano, and then guitar, and saxophone, and percussion, and then produce music recordings!
Being the leader of the Chicago band, Zamandoque Tarahum for 12 years (1998-2010) left him with ample experience for producing in the studio, and live performances. Now as a solo artist his songwriting skills have taken a serious turn as RA Amaro makes his way in the ranks of Latin music.
RA Amaro recently produced a CD album which was to be the band's next release. Instead, Amaro was forced into sigle handedly record the CD titled "Con Mi Luna" (CML) with his brother Hugo Amaro on the bass in some songs.
Out of that CD a collection of finely tuned compositions are showcased in live shows by RA Amaro gaining a new audience and fans, as well as retaining Zamandoque Tarahum's old fans with a series of melodious songs.
In this production a few songs had been penned years ago, yet never recorded. Immediately following the digital release of the CML album, RA Amaro returns to the studio to begin production on his first solo album which a collection of this released is available now at www.zamantaramusic.com
