Radioflyer, a four member Alternative Rock band from Edmonton Alberta, started in 2007 with lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Shane Isley and bassist Makenna Hurst under the original name of Level Nation. Shane Isley recruited long time friend and lead guitarist Drew Ferguson. The band instantly clicked and began writing music and playing shows all over Edmonton. Radioflyer, a four member Alternative Rock band from Edmonton Alberta, started in 2007 with lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Shane Isley and bassist Makenna Hurst under the original name of Level Nation. Shane Isley recruited long time friend and lead guitarist Drew Ferguson. The band instantly clicked and began writing music and playing shows all over Edmonton. Due to unforeseen circumstances the band was forced to go on hiatus in 2008 but re-grouped in early 2009 with new drummer Jesse Bauman and came out strong to the scene. The band underwent a few change since 2007 and has since renamed themselves in 2009 because they felt that the original name no longer fit their genre of music. Emerging in 2009 as Radioflyer, the band has been playing shows over Alberta & Saskatchewan such as a sold out show with Stephanie Bosch at The Haven and Rocked the Taphouse with Canada’s Bodog Battle Champions "40 Sons". Radioflyer has just finished recording their debut EP titled "Because You've Been Drinking". The EP has an expected release date of May/June 2010.
