Who is Smurf Da Geniuz? Well, born Rafael Aponte Jr to Rafael Aponte and Evelyn Morales-Garcia on April 2nd, 1984. He was born in the Badlandz (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) where he lived till he was about 10 before he moved to Power Kingdom (Poughkeepsie, New York). Who is Smurf Da Geniuz? Well, born Rafael Aponte Jr to Rafael Aponte and Evelyn Morales-Garcia on April 2nd, 1984. He was born in the Badlandz (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) where he lived till he was about 10 before he moved to Power Kingdom (Poughkeepsie, New York). The first 2 years of living in New York, he would become a rollerblader and hang with the "Not-So-Cool" people. Then, around 1996, he was discovered by CK1 (Chris Kidd) and Da Last One (Darnell Sanchez). Smurf would take a drastic change in his life. He crossed over from the "Not-So-Cool" people to being more within the "Popular" scene, but not once have he forgotten what he was when he first came upon the almighty Kingdom. He attended Poughkeepsie Middle School, graduated, then would go on to complete High School (Poughkeepsie High School). In school he was known as the "Class Clown". He was loved by most and hated at the same time. Weird but true! In 1998, Smurf would began his "Artistic" career in the music industry. It first began with poems then elevated into emceeing. Ck1 and Da Last One and Smurf would then create what they called BIG MADA (May-duh). In 2000, Big Mada Records and Youngstar Entertainment (Now Known As Gangreen Entertainment) would create their first mixtape called GET MONEY VOLUME 1. It was never fully put into the streets so it never really made a buzz. In 2004, Da Last One And Smurf Da Geniuz, would go on to creating The Bang Thang Gang. Also in the same year, the Bang Thang Gang will get some air-time on a College-based radio station called WVKR 91.3FM, thanks to the man formerly known as Artiste. They also had there song "Go" played in a club, at the time called, Matrix, now called Intrigue. In 2005, Smurf moved back to Philadelphia and their, he would finish his First Solo Demo, called Spoken Words. He also was featured on a DVD created by Culpirate called We On Fire. The Song, "Playing No More" was featured on the DVD. He would then work with Sup (Soup) from Evalicer Records, and create two tracks that is to be featured on his up-coming Mixtape. He would also work with Jane Doe and was featured on her album, Jane Doe - By A Lady. Smurf Was Also Featured On Yung Miss Productions Presents The Drawing Board Mixtape and Kings With Mics Volume 1 Mixtape Smurf continues following this dream he had set since he was younger. He is now working on his Second Demo and his first album. He is also working on putting out a mixtape called, From The Kingdom To The Badlandz, in which, is coming out soon ...... Smurf Also Goes By The Alter Ego Of Jimmy Bosco Kazziano AKA Jim B Dot!
