Music lover, musician, composer and music journalist, Rafael Aragòn aka Rafiralfiro has borned, grown and lives in and around Paris, in an urban and poly-cultural environment. A short and priceless classic piano learning gave him the keys to understand music, and computer-based music, weapons to express it. However, the quantity and diversity of assimilated music is still his best gift, according to him. Rafiralfiro can't choose between romantism and impressionism, popular and erudite music, and loves both jazz open-mind, modern music blending, and musical folklores inheritance. Refusing a conceptual and intellectual representation of music, he considers it as a priviligied space of playing and expressing, in contrast with the human langage borders. Reworking samples within an impressionist scale, for random magic to operate and then overcome it by adding played tracks, arranging and mixing it with a science of detail and density. Since 2008 he has increased his activities in several projects. First he started a collab with friend and hip-hop dj [wi-ni]2.0 from Spain. They have played in Paris and Casablanca and released a live recording. They're currently working on an hip-hop album featuring many vocal guests. He has also develloped his live trio project (with drums and bass played live) to give more energy, improvisation and loudness to his music. It has become his main live project now.
