BIOGRAPHY Razae is a native of Chicago, West Side to be precise and also a cousin of former Priority Records/Hoo Bangin recording group "Chilldrin of Da Ghetto". He was introduced to the world of music when L.L. Cool J. dropped the hit single "My Radio". He bought a kangol hat, learned Cool J's songs word for word and preformed in several talent shows throughout grade school. At the age of fifteen he decided to write his first song which revealed a hidden talent, the talent to compose lyrics. Razae currently resides in Milwaukee, where he opened up for the Nation Wide recording group Total in 1997 at "Jack Jammers". He has performed at several other clubs throughout Milwaukee, Madison, Racine, Waukegan, and Elgin Illinois. He has also produced songs from Hip Hop to R&B for various artists like, Boulevard, Crack Beatz, Twan G., Roller Boy, and Cash Ball, Yul, DeAngeles, Remedy, and Crisstyle. In 1998 he enrolled himself in acting school located in downtown Chicago which helped his skills grow as a performer and artist by performing in several plays throughout Chicago and Milwaukee. Razae has earned many outstanding reviews in various newspapers for his performances. You can also catch some of his songs in various episodes of "South Park" from Cable U.S.A. to over twenty five countries nationwide. He recorded his first album in 2001 which is entitled "Runnin 4 My Life", and in July of 2003 completed his second album entitled "Ratha Die Than Live Broke", and at this time is currently working on a project entitled "Why Um Not Famous?" featuring The Mental Ward Family which consists of several artists like: Suspect, Mick Diesel, Boulevard, Mella G., Marciano Young, Reece G., Remedy, Luscious, Young Weezy, and J Hook from the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. Razae states that "if you don't believe in what you say or do while delivering with the right conviction, regardless of if it's on the microphone or on stage, no one else will believe you. If you don't believe you're a leader or a champion, nobody else is going to believe it!” No matter how many theatre directors turn me down, no matter how many record companies turn me down, I keep writing and practicing my crafts as an actor and rap artist. It only makes me stronger and better at what I do. Razae's goals in life are to be successful in the Music Industry as well as theatre and film and to try to stay positive through negative situations.
