My name is Kevin Watkins I was born on January 6th 1988 in Fort Worth, Texas. My mom and dad was in the military their names are Doris Jean Merchant and Ray Dean Watkins, and I am one of ten kids. I am the youngest boy. In 98′ i moved to Birmingham, Al where I stayed on the East Side for a little over a year due to all the crime we moved to Shelby County were I went to middle school and high school. My rap name is Real, I actually came up with it in 9th grade because I felt like I would always be the same person for the rest of my life and that’s what being “real” means to me. On July 4th 2010 I was blessed with my daughter Ka’Mia Jaliah Watkins. She stays in Dallas Texas with her mom. I have been rapping since the 5th grade but I did not start taking it serious until about this past year because I feel like the game needs a young guy like myself to speak for every young black man going through the struggle at my age. My rap inspirations are Young Jeezy, T.I.i, and Plies because I feel like they speak that real stuff and I can relate to them. And I’m looking to take over when they retire.
