I moved to Dallas, TX about 4 1/2 years ago and it has been such a blessing to make such wonderful friends here. I do miss home often and especially seeing my family but know that the Lord has me here for now. I love to sing and even though I have never had any formal training I have sang in a few weddings and a little in high school. I have just recently starting writing a few songs and am having a blast!! I have always loved country music and wanted to be part of it. After all, I had the nickname of Reba in college.... right? So, through a friend the desire to follow my dreams......... has become a reality. I recorded my first song on Monday the 12th, of May. I received word at the beginning of July that I had been selected as one of the top 10 pics in the GAC music nation's competition. I can't believe that straight out of the gate.... my very first song that I would be selected to be put on GAC. It aired on July 13th and even though it was just a quick 30 seconds of the song and a few pics I was so encouraged. So I am going to keep the music rolling.
