Both his parents devoted themselves to music: his father was a pianist and his mother was an opera singer. His older brother Leonardo, himself an exceptional organist and pianist, and was Renato’s very first music teacher. In english: Born in Bari, Italy, Renato Falaschi has been immersed in music since his childhood. Both his parents devoted themselves to music: his father was a pianist and his mother was an opera singer. His older brother Leonardo, himself an exceptional organist and pianist, and was Renato’s very first music teacher. At an early age, Renato’s talent was noticed by acclaimed composer Nino Rota, who was at the time the director of the Music Conservatory « Niccolò Piccini » of Bari (Italy). Rota is of course renowned worldwide for the music he created for the film "THE GODFATHER“. Heeding Maestro Rota’s advice, Renato started studying classical piano, guitar, jazz music and composition at the age of 8. By age 15, Renato’s talent has been recognized in the most important music towns like Milan, Rome, Pesaro and Frankfurt and he becomes the youngest demonstrator of electronic organs for HAMMOND, CRB DIAMOND, KETRON and SOLTON. A chance meeting with Matteo Bonadies, a passionate advocate of jazz music, enables Renato to start a partnership with Italian television channel RAI UNO at age 20. Renato participates as a pianist in a series of RAI programmes, including one of their most popular shows, FANTASTICO 6, presented by the well-known Italian showman Pippo Baudo and showgirl Lorella Cuccarini. His teamwork with RAI generates new musical opportunities with various well known Italian artists like violinist Piergiorgio Farina, arranger Victor Bach, orchestra director Renato Serio, drummer Tullio de Piscopo, saxophonist James Senese and many more. After some years of study under the supervision of conductor (Prof.) Rosanna Gisotti, in 1990 Renato is awarded the Diploma of Classical Piano at the Conservatory « S. Enrico DUNI » in Matera (Italy). After completing his studies at the Conservatory, Renato attends numerous musical classes at the Jazz University of Terni (Italy) under the supervision of the famous jazz bass player Bruno Tommaso and obtains the Diploma of Arranger and Director for Big Band. Renato’s piano and other diplomas and his knowledge of various types of music enable him to teach piano, jazz, organ, music theory and harmony in various musical schools. After numerous musical partnerships in various European countries, Renato settles to Paris. His collaborations continue with many French and international artists, with Renato playing the role of pianist and arranger in the recording of many CDs, including those of Bruce L. JOHNSON, Bruce NAZARIAN, Claude SALMIERI, Doug DUFFEY, Eric FRASIAK, Frank MICHAEL, Linda Lee HOPKINS, Jerome SEBAG, Karen JOHNSON, Mario BARRAVECCHIA, Rocco VENTRELLA, Tanya MICHELLE, Theodat TURGOT, Yolanda GRAVES, and more… After years spent enhancing other people's projects, including Rocco Ventrella’s debut CD “Give Me The Groove” in 2006, Renato begins a project of his own: a smooth jazz album. His first recording, a smooth jazz version of Billy Joel's hit ”JUST THE WAY YOU ARE” is ranked 5th in “THE BEST TRACKS OF 2007” by radio host Jimi King of SKY.fm, the world’s biggest Smooth jazz internet radio station. Renato continues his musical adventures with the recording of two original compositions ”TRAVELING LITE” and ”SUMMER RAIN”. His Smooth Jazz album, also titled ”SUMMER RAIN”, was released in January 2009 and to support that release, Renato performed at the famous London jazz club PIZZA EXPRESS in SOHO, with other Smooth Jazz artists Rocco VENTRELLA, Oli SILK and JAARED. In 2010 Renato released three new single, a re-interpretation of BREEZIN', Bobby Womack's composition made famous worldwide by George Benson, Renato’s new “solo piano” classic-modern composition PRELUDE N°1 (theme’s prelude of SUMMER RAIN) and another slower version of Bob Marley’s classic song “WAITING IN VAIN” featuring Rocco VENTRELLA ranked 2nd in “THE BEST TRACKS OF 2010” by radio host Jimi KING of SKY.fm. Nino ROTA, alors directeur du Conservatoire de musique « Niccolò Piccinni » de Bari (Italie), connu dans le monde entier pour, entre autres, sa musique du film "LE PARRAIN“ reconnaîtra son talent exceptionnel. Sur ses conseils, il entreprend dès 8 ans, des études de piano classique et il travaille également à l'étude de la guitare, au jazz et à la composition. À 15 ans, Renato FALASCHI est reconnu sur les plus importantes places musicales comme Milan, Rome, Pesaro et Francfort, et devient le plus jeune démonstrateur d'orgues électromagnétiques « HAMMOND » et orgues électroniques « CRB DIAMOND », « KETRON » et « SOLTON ». Sa rencontre fortuite avec Matteo BONADIES, un grand passionné de la musique jazz, va lui permettre à 20 ans, d’entamer une collaboration avec la télévision nationale italienne RAI UNO. Il participera comme pianiste à différentes émissions, parmi les plus importantes comme « FANTASTICO 6 », présenté par le célèbre showman italien Pippo Baudo, avec la showgirl Lorella Cuccarini. En 1990, il obtient au Conservatoire de musique « S. Enrico Duni » de Matera (Italie), le diplôme de piano classique, sous la direction de la concertiste Prof. Rosanna Gisotti. Il fréquente ensuite de nombreuses écoles musicales et obtient le diplôme d’Arrangeur et Direction pour Big Band » auprès de la « JAZZ UNIVERSITY » de Terni (Italie), sous la direction du célèbre contrebassiste jazz Bruno Tommaso. Son diplôme de piano et les expériences acquises dans tous ces différenets styles lui permettent d'enseigner le piano classique et le jazz, l'orgue, le solfège et l'harmonie dans différentes écoles de musique. Les nombreuses collaborations, dans différents pays européens, le mènent en 2002 à s’installer à Paris. Il travaille alors avec de nombreux artistes français et internationaux en participant à l'enregistrement de nombreux disques comme pianiste et arrangeur. On retiendra : Bruce L. Johnson, Bruce Nazarian, Doug Duffey, Eric Frasiak, Frank Michael, Linda Lee Hopkins, Jerome Sebag, Karen Johnson, Mario Barravecchia, Rocco Ventrella, Tanya Michelle, Theodat Turgot, Yolanda Graves, etc… Après plusieurs années consacrées aux projets des autres, il décide de travailler à son propre projet : un album Smoth Jazz. Il enregistre une première version smooth-jazz du tube “JUST THE WAY YOU ARE“ de Billy Joel et se classe 5° dans «THE BEST OF 2007» de Jimi King sur la radio SKY.fm. à LONDRES. Il obtient vite la reconnaissance du monde de la musique smooth-jazz et continue son aventure en enregistrant 2 de ses compositions “TRAVELLING LITE“ et “SUMMER RAIN“. Il donnera le nom de ce dernier titre à son mini album de 3 titres qui sortira en janvier 2009 et sera présenté dans le célébre jazz-club londonien « PIZZA EXPRESS SOHO ». Il collabore en même temps à la production du nouvel album du saxophoniste Rocco Ventrella, avec lequel il coopère souvent comme pianiste et arrangeur. En 2010 Renato enregistre trois nouveaux titres, une autre reprise, BREEZIN' célèbre composition de Bobby Womack connue dans monde entier par la magistrale interprétation du grand George Benson, une nouvelle compo « solo piano » classique-moderne PRÉLUDE N°1 and encore une autre re-interprétation de la célèbre composition de Bob Marley WAITING IN VAIN featuring Rocco Ventrella. Riconosciuto “talento eccezionale” dal noto musicista Nino ROTA, celebre nel mondo soprattutto come compositore della colonna sonora del film “Il PADRINO” (The Godfather) diretto da Francis Ford COPPOLA, allora direttore del Conservatorio di musica “Niccolò PICCINNI”di Bari (Italia), su suo espresso consiglio, intraprende a soli 8 anni, presso il medesimo Conservatorio, gli studi di pianoforte classico e contestualmente si dedica allo studio della chitarra, al jazz e alla composizione. A 15 anni è già conosciuto in tutta l'Italia nelle più importanti mostre musicali di Milano, Roma, Pesaro e Francoforte come più giovane dimostratore d’organi elettromagnetici "HAMMOND" ed organi elettronici CRB DIAMOND, KETRON e SOLTON. L’incontro fortuito con un grande appassionato di musica jazz il Dott. Matteo BONADIES, gli consente d’iniziare grazie al suo prezioso aiuto la collaborazione con la rete televisiva nazionale italiana RAIUNO partecipando a diverse trasmissioni, tra le più importanti “FANTASTICO 6” condotta dal noto presentatore italiano Pippo BAUDO, con Lorella CUCCARINI. La collaborazione con la RAI favorisce nuove esperienze musicali con diversi noti artisti italiani, come il violinista Piergiorgio FARINA, l’arrangiatore Victor BACH, il direttore d’orchestra Renato SERIO, il batterista Tullio de PISCOPO, il saxofonista James SENESE, e molti altri. Nel 1990, consegue presso il Conservatorio di musica “S. Enrico DUNI” di Matera (Italia), il diploma in pianoforte classico, sotto la guida della concertista Prof.ssa Rosanna GISOTTI. Frequenta in seguito numerosi stages musicali, ottenendo presso la “Jazz University” di Terni (Italia), il diploma in “Arrangiamento e Direzione per Big Band” tenuto dal famoso contrabbassista jazz Bruno TOMMASO. Il diploma di pianoforte e le esperienze acquisite nei vari stili musicali, gli consentono di insegnare il pianoforte classico e jazz, l’organo, il solfeggio e l’armonia presso diverse scuole di musica. Le numerose collaborazioni in differenti paesi europei, lo inducono nel 2002 a trasferirsi a Parigi, centro logisticamente nevralgico, queste gli permetteranno di inserirsi nell’ambiente discografico sia francese che internazionale, da qui la possibilità di registrare numerosi nuovi dischi come pianista ed arrangiatore per diversi artisti tra i quali: Bruce L. JOHNSON, Bruce NAZARIAN, Doug DUFFEY, Eric FRASIAK, Frank MICHAEL, Linda LEE HOPKINS, Jerome SEBAG, Karen JOHNSON, Rocco VENTRELLA, Tanya MICHELLE, Theodat TURGOT, Yolanda GRAVES, etc… Dopo tanti anni dedicati a progetti altrui, incluso l'album "GIVE ME THE GROOVE" di Rocco VENTRELLA nel 2006, finalmente Renato registra nel 2007 una prima versione smooth jazz della nota canzone JUST THE WAY YOU ARE di Billy JOEL classificandosi al 5° posto nel “ THE BEST OF 2007 “ pubblicato da Jimi KING per la radio SKY.fm. Il risultato e la pubblicità che n’è conseguita gli permette di ottenere buoni riconoscimenti nel mondo della musica smooth jazz invogliandolo a registrare due delle sue composizioni TRAVELLING LITE e SUMMER RAIN, quest’ultima darà poi il nome al suo primo mini-cd, presentato in gennaio del 2009, nel noto jazz club londinese « PIZZA EXPRESS SOHO ». Nel 2010 produce altri tre nuovi single, la celebre composizione “ BREEZIN’ “di Bobby WOMACK conosciuta in tutto il mondo per la magistrale interpretazione del grande George BENSON, una sua nuova composizione « solo piano » di connotazione classico-moderna PRELUDIO N°1 ( sul tema di SUMMER RAIN ) ed un'altra versione della famosa canzone di Bob Marley "WAITING IN VAIN" in duo con il saxofonista Rocco Ventrella.
