Rhetoric was born on January 25th 2008 in Marla's living room with Rocket with the first release "Your Shadow". Soon after "JP" joined the band, and the creative process exploded as they wrote 17 songs one after another. Thus Rhetoric had found it's wonderful and fun groove. Rhetoric was now complete. Rhetoric was born on January 25th 2008 in Marla's living room with Rocket with the first release "Your Shadow". Soon after "JP" joined the band, and the creative process exploded as they wrote 17 songs one after another. Thus Rhetoric had found it's wonderful and fun groove. Rhetoric was now complete. Rhetoric combines rock, blues, funk, and jazz to create it's groove. The diversity of this amazing band could not be captured by listening to one song. As a whole Rhetoric stands up for what they believe in such as recycling, organic and natural foods free of chemicals, ethical and fair treatment of all animals, a world free of corporate tyrants, like the oil companies, and of course independent music that doesn't get ram-rodded by controlling money hungry label execs. Rhetoric is currently being looked at by several record labels but has not decided on one as of yet. They are recording their debut album "Bewildered" to be released in the fall of 2008. They also look forward to beginning the tour in 2009 and will include North America, and Europe.
