Originally from Bel Air,MD, Rich started writing songs in 2nd grade & played in the St. Margarets Folk Group at age 11.Started his first band "SledgeHammer" in 7th grade.His second band was "Wind of Change" being put together by Folk group leader Tom Hoffman.At the age of 16 joined professional group "41 East".Leaving this band at the age of 19 went on his own playing at Ocean city and all over MD.Left for Boston’s Berklee School of Music in 1983, met teacher Producer Dennis Cecere and re...

Originally from Bel Air,MD, Rich started writing songs in 2nd grade & played in the St. Margarets Folk Group at age 11.Started his first band "SledgeHammer" in 7th grade.His second band was "Wind of Change" being put together by Folk group leader Tom Hoffman.At the age of 16 joined professional group "41 East".Leaving this band at the age of 19 went on his own playing at Ocean city and all over MD.Left for Boston’s Berklee School of Music in 1983, met teacher Producer Dennis Cecere and recorded his first Record.Running into Bassist Brian Fox led Rich eventually went to LA after interest was expressed from Legendary Doors, Janis Joplin Producer Paul Rothchild.Rothchild and his son Dan helped Rich reach a new level of awareness with his music.Writing day in and day out.Eventually he did some sessions for Bruce Botnick who was the Doors engineer and produced their last album.Singing on a Eddie Kramer session for Warner Bros.His voice was heard on KMart national add campaign.His song Lonely World was in Surfing Sports Spectacular.Moving back to the east coast in 1995 Rich met virtuoso guitarist Jaimie LaRitz.When John Giles of Great Train Robbery left the band Jaime joined and soon after brought Rich on board.This was one of the best playing experiences you could ask for in the Md. east coast region.Dave Capozolli, Rich, Jaimie LaRitz and Sean Hughs made some rocking music.Rocking Sloppy Joes in Key West,Coconut Grove, Daytona, Boca Raton, Jacksonville all the way up to O.C. Eventually, he left GTR to do his own thing in’99.Rich with the great help of Paul Abramson started Mascaraid and have left a trail of gigs from NJ all the way to Key West.Playing the first week of the new millennium at Sloppy Joe’s in Key West.Performing at Union Station,D.C. for the Ricoh Rocks Road Show.Playing for Bono of U2’s birthday party on top of the E-Commerce building.Touring Colleges in Pa. or at the Ocean.The List goes on and the story is still being written. The Music goes on and on ........
