Rich Owen is a former United States Air Force officer. He resides just outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado, along with is wife and four children. He has been singing all of his life: at home, in choirs, and in front of any audience that would listen. His earliest exposure to country music was through his mother; she was an avid fan of Glen Campbell, and played his music often. Rich Owen is a former United States Air Force officer. He resides just outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado, along with is wife and four children. He has been singing all of his life: at home, in choirs, and in front of any audience that would listen. His earliest exposure to country music was through his mother; she was an avid fan of Glen Campbell, and played his music often. Other musical influences include the Eagles, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, George Straight, Brad Paisley, and Phil Vassar (to name just a few).A mere two years ago (2006), he picked up a guitar for the first time and began to teach himself to play. A mere few months later, he wrote his first song, “I Ain’t Ready for Forever (to End)”, a love song for his wife of 25 years. The songs continued to flow from there, as Rich drew upon a lifetime of experiences and emotions. His music truly comes straight from the heart. He has a unique way of drawing the listener into the stories he tells through his songs, and making them truly feel the emotions that play out in the music and lyrics.“Home, God, and Country” is Rich Owen’s debut album.
