Rise Today was formed in January 2010 by Harry K. and FlyKee. After dissolving their previous band, "One Step Further", they decided to continue to work together. Along with the new name "Rise Today", came a slight change in their music style which transitioned from hard rock to melodic rock. Along with the new name "Rise Today", came a slight change in their music style which transitioned from hard rock to melodic rock. The elaborated guitar sound, combined with meaningful lyrics is the main characteristic of the Rise Today tunes. The repertoire consists of colorful, catchy melodies - a unique sound which, dynamically performed, is especially fascinating for live audiences. Rise Today is currently working on new material and enjoys playing small gigs. Subsequently, the release date for the first album is set for the summer of 2011.
