A combination of various alternative rock influences in a refreshingly original fashion, RiverRat Jenkins brings it all to the table. In the past year RiverRat Jenkins has made great strides in their career. They opened shows for Bobbie Peru from England, and have began expanding into a hot regional act. They have played hot spots in Philly, including The Khyber, The North Star and The Note, where Bam Margera was in the audience! They are currently making their debut album which is being produced by Mihai Antonescu of Full Frontal/ Roadrunner Music in Romania. RiverRat Jenkins guitar player and lead singer Justin Leach began jamming with Bass player and vocalist Matt Fuddy shortly after they met ice fishing in Costa Rica. They instantly hit it off and brought Justin's brother Job Leach into the band on drums. Some believe he is the reincarnation of John Bonham. Justin Leach started his music career in Elizabethtown, and Lancaster, Pa, in a band called "1314". 1314 played many a coffee shop and had a strong following. He moved to new york city and played on the streets, in subway stations and with park bums. It was a great learning experience. While in new York, Justin wrote many songs, and even some plays. He then moved back to Pennsylvania and formed "Hey Otis" and released a self titled CD. After Hey Otis, Justin played bass for "Something Simple" and is currently bass player for "American Cheese". Job Leach started out as drummer for a band called "KOPP-Kings of Public Practice" before joining River Rat Jenkins. Matt Fuddy started his music career at Penn State University with the band "Phyrst". He then became a fisherman in Costa Rica. His specialty was ice fishing. The rest is history.
