Every so often, an individual comes along who exceeds your expectations. Someone who, upon that first listen, makes you feel privileged to some well-kept secret. The overwhelming satisfaction feeling when a listener hears the sound of something completely brand new streamed through a pair of 6x9 speakers, 1000 watt amp, and a 12 inch woofer. It’s the sound of a voice along with a style that doesn’t seem to be depicted by region. This is the sound of Hip Hop’s newest superstar (RizzyBoy) whose up-bringing is as versatile as his phenomenal music. RizzyBoy’s musical influence was brought upon during the 90’s East Coast/West Coast beef period in which Hip Hop lost two of its most prolific artist to date (2Pac and Notorious BIG). To be inspired through tragedy is remarkable in the since where it changes a persons outlook on life. Rather than to join the conflict, RizzyBoy turned the situation in the opposite direction by shedding the gangster life image and adopting one of class. “I accept my responsibility as an idol. I understand that kids look up to rappers and emulate everything that they do. That’s why I want to relay an honest but positive messages but in a way that makes it easy to digest.” Which is why RizzyBoy’s MySpace page found at (www.myspace.com/rizzyboy) is a popular locale. Eventually his music followed and gained the attention of Grand Hustle Producer, Cavie who helped RizzyBoy to showcase his talent and gain placements on the son of the legendary Eazy E’s Armed and-N-Dangerous mixtape. By the age of 19 he’d become the official ghostwriter of a current Blackground/Universal artist. Soon after, RizzyBoy, wanted to take more control of the creative process of music besides songwriting. After sitting in studio sessions with artist like Jayo Felony and Bishop Lamont he began to watch and learn how engineers and producers would turn spoken word over instruments into melodies that sent chills down your spine. It wasn’t long until RizzyBoy was self teaching the beat making program Fruity Loops and creating his own production. Though music is his focus it isn’t the only bread-winner in his life. He is also the owner of Permanent Ink Multimedia (www.ink-gfx.com) , a successful graphic design, marketing, and advertising company. In which he first started in order to help market and promote his 1st self produced mixtape “Cali-Rock-Star” hosted by The High Deserts 100.9 the Heat station DJ Wayne-e-ack. RizzyBoy’s talent took him a step further in 2008 when local indie label 2Divas Entertainment offered a chance to win terrestrial radio rotation through their artist talent showcase. RizzyBoy not only won the event but ended winning 3 more of their showcases. The winning song “Take Yo Girlfriend” remained in the top 10 rotation for 10 weeks and became the first most requested local song ever on 100.9 The Heat. The song also gained the interest to rappers Roscoe Umali, Turf Talk, Keak Da Sneak, and DJ Warrior who all gave RizzyBoy the opportunity to be the opening act to their performances. This also gave RizzyBoy the chance to open up a new avenue of income when the club owners seen his capability of arranging performances. Soon they gave him the opportunity to host his own events. Little did they know that RizzyBoy would intern pack sell out crowds in clubs like Lancaster, CA Club Mango Tango and the Bamboo Lounge. With a vault of almost 100 recorded songs he is by far ready to present a debut album to the awaiting public. Online west coast powerhouse (www.westcoastrydaz.com) took notice when RizzyBoy’s underground single mp3 and ringtone “Crank that AV” topped the West Coast genre chart on (www.artistserver.com). A week later RizzyBoy was featured on WestCoastRydaz.com. RizzyBoy knows for his star to rise, he must tread “along a very cold road and wherever it ends or begins I do not know.” But, one thing is for certain, RizzyBoy is a one to one… there’s never been one and there’ll never be another one.
