Robert had an interest in music from a very young age. Early influences included everything from Johnny Cash to ZZ-Top. I started playing guitar around the age of 12. Joined my first band at 20 playing locally in Oklahoma for several years. Had numerous gigs as the opening band for names such as Lorrie Morgan, Steve Wariner & Marty Stuart. Joined my first band at 20 playing locally in Oklahoma for several years. Had numerous gigs as the opening band for names such as Lorrie Morgan, Steve Wariner & Marty Stuart. Moved to Nashville in 2002 to pursue a music career. I was a runner up during the final round of the first season of Nashville Star. Selected for season 2 & 4 of the competition. Returned to Oklahoma for my children and had to put career on back burner, but continued to write music and play locally when the opportunity was there. I have never lost my passion for music.
