Bio At the early age of seven, I started singing in Grade School becoming a soloist in the school choir. I was impacted when Mick Jagger came to my parent's house in Nicaragua and we ploayed his song "Angie". In High School I developed my music talents composing songs and participating in the senior talent show where I won first place singing “Rock Around The Clock”. This experience inspired me to pursue my musical talents. However, my dreams were interrupted where my family was displaced during the civil war in Nicaragua. The following years were strictly dedicated starting our lives over in the United States. Following this period, I moved to Miami where I attended the local Community College and performed at local bars and restaurants in Miami Beach to support myself. I also performed in band’s as a singer and a guitarist at local festivals in Calle Ocho and Bayside. Searching for further development of my skills, I attended Boston Conservatory and Longy School of Music in Massachusetts where I acquired my formal vocal training as a lyric tenor. My composing style is further influenced by my multi-cultural background as well as studying song writers such as John Lennon, Cat Stevens, Neil Young and many more. The style of the music is highly influenced from my Oklahoma heritage on my mother’s side. My musical compositions are a true statement of passion for life, love and perseverance.
