Ron Hogan has released 5 CDs over the last few years. They are: 1. Eye of the Storm (2006); 2. Eye of the Light (2007); 3. End of the Open Mind (2007); 4. Vision of the Wolf (2007); 5. and a double CD, Wings Have Eyes (2008). All of the CDs are available at CDbaby.com and Itunes as well as other download sites. The words and music to all the songs on the CDs have been written by him. He also plays rhythm guitar, Korg Sampler (KARMA) and is the lead vocalist. He has a backlog of songs that could fill many more CDs and he is continually writing songs. In the studio, Ron is accompanied by many excellent musicians including: Chris Burbick, a talented artist who plays a variety of instruments on the CDs "Eye of the Storm" ,"Eye of the Light" , "End of the Open Mind" "Vision of the Wolf" and "Wings Have Eyes" including: Acoustic and Electric Guitar; Bass Guitar; E-Bow; Mandolin; Bowed Psaltery; Pennywhistle; Recorder; Keyboard; and various percussion instruments. His own album "Silver Hand" has won critical acclaim. He is currently a member of a local band called "The Lizard Mafia". Andy Pimentel, a master keyboardist who has worked with the likes of Chuck Berry, Shaun Harris and many others. He has a gift for improvisation and his workmanship is superb. He also plays saxophone on "Another You" from the "End of the Open Mind" CD and on several songs in the "Vision of the Wolf" CD. Dennis Egli, a very creative bassist who has many years of experience working as a professional musician. His work on the "Eye of the Storm" , "Eye of the Light" nad "Wings Have Eyes" CDs is exceptional. John Trujillo,an excellent bass guitar player who is well known in the Southern Oregon region and is also an gifted vocalist. His work is appreciated on the "Vision of the Wolf" CD. Mark Stever, a gifted drummer who has played with legends like great Bo Diddley. He has the ability find grooves quickly and drive the band to great things on the "Eye of the Storm" , "Eye of the Light" , "Vision of the Wolf" and "Wings Have Eyes" CDs. Mark, Jim King and Rico all play together in a logal swing band called "The Mixers". Jim King and Rico Salas, play on the "Eye of the Storm" and the "Wings Have Eyes" CDs and their special sound gives an original flavor to such songs as "Tell Me if My Heart is Me", "In the Jar", "Come On" and of course the bands' favorite "Find a New Way". Jim's horn playing is top notch and Rico gives the songs an earthy SAX sound that adds to the mood. Tom Reilly, an accomplished musician known in the Southern Oregon area. His sweet, melodic saxophone and creative jazz riffs are featured on many of the songs on the "Wings Have Eyes" CD, such as "Come On", "Still I Remember You", "Little Vagabond", "No Face" and the haunting "Say No More". Aaron Thompson, plays Keyboards on some of the Demo tracks. Lillian Penner, a superb songwriter and musician plays cello and sings on a demo track "Lady of the Mountain". Bob Pagano, is the producer of the the albums and Owner of Mountain View Productions in Grants Pass, Oregon, has been in the music business most of his life and his technical and musical talents are very evident in all of these CDs as he brought out the best in each song and each musician. Rob Fowler, is an accomplished guitar player who plays with Ron on some of the demo tracks and is also an expert graphic artist who has designed the artwork and text in the CD packages.
