After experiencing her first Tori Amos concert at the tender age of 9 years old, Roxanne Lamendola had absolutely, head-over-heels fallen in love with music. Ever since then, Roxanne has starred in countless performing arts events, from the Miami Music Festival all the way to the stages and clubs of New York City.
She grew up in a musical household, having a family that is extremely relevant on the local music scene... and Roxanne's gift was only sharpened because of it. After years of studying the performing arts in school and writing original songs, it was obvious to anyone who had seen her perform that music would be her life's destiny.
It is clear that some of Roxanne's favorite artists, including Gwen Stefani, Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow and Sarah McLachlan, have influenced her sound and continue to inspire her creatively.
She has recently recorded with a powerhouse team from Nashville, TN, and continues to create new music in the studio as well as in her incredible live performances. Roxanne and her friends from Nashville wrote the song "Still (I Will Go On)" recorded by Native Window (made up of the members of the band Kansas). She wrote the theme song for the Emmy-winning television show "It's The Write Time" (BECON Studios), and she is most recently highlighted as the featured songstress in the South Florida Sun Sentinel's "Homegrown Music" section.
